Get into Torment

Four steps and you're in.

    Create an account

    You log in to the game with the same name and password.

    Get the game client

    Torment runs on World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a (build 12340).

    Get Torment's files

    Torment adds a patch and a few addons to your game. The launcher installs them and keeps them up to date.

    Download the launcher
    1. Run the file you downloaded. If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", choose More info, then Run anyway.
    2. Open the launcher and point it at your World of Warcraft 3.3.5a folder.
    3. It installs Torment's files and sets your realmlist. From then on it updates everything for you.

    Rather not use a launcher? Download the files yourself.

    Set the realmlist

    The launcher does this for you. Otherwise, open Data\enUS\realmlist.wtf and replace its contents with:

    set realmlist logon.wow-torment.com
  5. ✓

    Log in

    Start the game from the launcher or with Wow.exe, log in and pick Nephalem. Stuck? Ask on the Discord.
